====== Lagamine ======

**Lagamine** is a finite element code initially developed for the digital modelling of large deformations, mechanical problems and contact problems.


The code is developed in two different fields by two research teams:

  * geomechanics ([[https://www.uee.uliege.be/cms/c_3680140/fr/ueenew-geomecanique-et-geologie-de-l-ingenieur|GEG team]])
 
The researchers’ ongoing work throughout the world as well as in universities and even industry has maintained this code at the cutting edge of technology and research.
