LICHA

Force distributed on a line (plane or axisymmetric state)

Description

This element applies a normal pressure P and a tangent stress τ (in local axes) or a stress $\sigma_x$ and a stress $\sigma_y$ (in global axes) on a curved or straight boundary line. This line is defined by a variable number of nodes (2, 3, 4 or 5). The positive axis for tangent stress goes in the direction of the nodes. The positive axis for pressure is on the left when considering the element in the order of the nodes.

The forces are defined by the fictive law LICHA. These forces are multiplied either by multiplicator FMULT or by DMULT.
